Cedar Smudge Stick

The cedar tree has been venerated for thousands of years. It's wood was historically used to craft doors. Cedar's primary purpose is as a protective remedy, where pinches are cast onto red-hot rocks to create a bright yellow flame that ignites the pleasant aroma.

This treasured plant is also one of four integral components within the indigenous American Medicine Wheel—Southern direction. The other pivotal ingredients are: White Sage for the West, Sweetgrass for the North, and Tobacco for the East.  

Our smudge sticks all come directly from nature and may slightly differ in appearance, yet they will all be very similar to the pictured item.
